How end of service indemnity works in Kuwait

The formula

Article 51

For workers paid monthly, the indemnity is:

Workers paid by the day, week, hour or piece earn 10 days' wage a year for the first 5 years and 15 days a year after, up to one year's wage. This calculator covers monthly-paid workers.

When you get the full amount

Article 52

You receive the full indemnity when your employer ends the contract, when a fixed-term contract runs out and is not renewed, and when a woman worker ends her contract within one year of marriage. An employer can withhold it only when dismissing a worker for the serious reasons listed in Article 41.
